We Mount, Matte and Frame Your Print

 (You Want It To Look Great...No?)

(1) We mount your 8 1/2 x 11 inch print on a 16 x 20 sheet of off white, acid free buffered museum grade matte board. We use a sheet of 3M's Number 568 Positionable Mounting adhesive to adhere the print to the board.

(2) Next, we cut an overmat, leaving about an inch on each side of the print. Cut from the same type of board.

(3) If you order your print matted and mounted only, we attach the overmat to the mat using archival linen tape attached only to the back of each part.

(4) For the Framed prints we use a high quality 16 x 20 Matte Black cut metal frame with rounded front edge with glass. This type of frame can easily be taken apart with a simple screwdriver. OR We use a 16 x 20 black painted wood frame (non-glossy) and glass This installation is done with glazing points and is a little harder to take apart should you need to. It is possible however, so don't worry too much.

(5) Next we install a plastic coated hanging wire so that the frames will be able to be put on the wall right out of the box.

(6) We then pack the framed print with bubble wrap to avoid any injury or breakage during transport.
